Under Construction: Working on the Website!

I am very excited to soon offer not only the blog, but a website!  While everything is under construction I will be posting mainly on my Facebook page.  This process should run me about two weeks.  In the meantime, I want your opinion!  What things do you like to see about Kansas City? What events matter to you?  Please submit by commenting here on the blog or emailing me at KCGlitzandGlamour@yahoo.com.  I want to make the site easy to use so your opinion counts!

In addition, I am also looking to help small businesses create websites and partnership with me through KCGlitzandGlamour.  If you are ready to make the jump into web marketing and social media, let me help you.  My site will also feature these services to help the small business owner get the word out about their business or service in the greater Kansas City area.

Fun in the Sun this Weekend? Check Out What's Happening 01/23-01/25

The January weather is making it easy to get out and about. Make sure you are in attendance this coming weekend to the following great Kansas City Events.

• If you didn't get the opportunity to partake in the first days of KC Restaurant Week, don't worry! KC Restaurant Week started on January 16 and will end on January 25. Enjoy multi-course menus at several great Kansas City Restaurants. Go to www.kcrestaurantweek.com to see a full list of participants.

• Party Arty during the Kansas City Beautiful event at the Nelson Atkins Museum on January 24th.  This fundraising event looks at Kansas City now and then.  Tickets start at $100.

• The Kansas City Boat & Sportshow is back at Bartle Hall from January 22-25.  Admission is $12. Kids 15 and under are free!

• The Kansas City Reperatory Theater presents "An Iliad" January 23-February 15th. Come see the retelling of Homer's epic poem. Tickets range from $29-54.
